Broken Fingers, is the project of the guitarist/composer
George Daskalakis who lives and works in Utrecht (Holland) where he went to obtain the MA in Jazz Guitar Performance. Daskalakis' carefully drawn melodies provide the canvas where upon is deployed the band's group improvisation interplay. Carrying a solid technical and aesthetic basis in their luggage, the musicians debark on a sonic journey through the paths of jazz and avant garde. The project consists
Alejandro Rivas (Chile) on saxophone,
Martin Grabher (Austria) on drums, the
Yannis Hadjidakis (Greece) on piano and
Panos Marantos from Kalamata on double bass.
